An Exquisite Wedding Reception, Thank You! We had our wedding reception at the Dome, Brighton Hotel Du Vin this weekend, and it was absolutely exquisite. Laura, Katie and the whole events team were exceptional and made the whole day spectacular. The food, service, and decor were wonderful; it was a very special day indeed. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at Hotel Du Vin who had a hand in making the day so fabulous. We really appreciate it and would highly recommend the hotel to anyone considering a Brighton Wedding.
We had a lovely weekend break with our 2 sausage dogs for our wedding anniversary and loved it. The staff went above and beyond to help and make sure we all had a great time. The dog beds and treats were a fab surprise. High praise in particular to Matthew (I think) who was on hand Friday night who helped us to our room. We've stayed in other "dog friendly" hotels before and this has been the best experience from choice of room to get the dogs outside easily to the staff all wanting to say hello to the dogs. The room was amazing, the bed very comfortable and the roll top bath a big treat. Highly recommend for dog owners and people who just want a really nice time away :)
Fantastic hotel. Made better by the staff who were all lovely and friendly even though they were very busy. Downside is no lift, we didn't check before arriving. However I can manage stairs slowly and staff helped us with our bags. Booked to go back for 2 nights next year. We had a bath in our room which was lovely. The doors into the bathroom were part frosted glass which some people might not like. I don't know the facilities in other rooms. Our room was spacious and clean. Accessible toilet on the ground floor adjacent to the bar and bistro.
Lots of good points about this place: Pros Great location close to station and old town Staff were really nice and helpful Clean comfy rooms A few cons Room was really noisy, lots of noise from bars on the street outside and other rooms, doors banging night and day, acoustics quite poor. Heating control didn’t work Overall a nice stay. A special mention to Mo is the bistro, he looked after us amazingly well, true gentleman and a professional at his job.
We’ve just had a lovely two night stay at this hotel and will definitely be back. Staff were very friendly and efficient and room was lovely, clean, comfortable and with all facilities we needed, various teas, coffee, hairdryer, robes, slippers, gorgeous toiletries …. . The shower is the best I have ever had! The bed was large and comfortable (on the softer side), big pillows …. The room was a little warm, we couldn’t work the air conditioning and there was no bathroom fan so it got a little steamy! Luckily we had a little terrace on a flat roof, so opening the door sorted it. The scaffolding and current building works are no issue. Thank you for looking after us
We are currently staying at the hotel in celebration of my husbands birthday. We have stayed before and always have a great experience. The customer service is exemplary, and there is always a warm welcome here and today was no exception . The room is lovely and comfortable and there was a lovely note for husband’s birthday. Today our expectations were surpassed. We had an amazing meal in restaurant and a lovely bottle of champagne. When it was opened it went with a pop, and the lady opening spilled a little. This was noticed by the manager and he brought us an extra two glasses of champagne after our meal. This was above and beyond, and so well received by us. Very highly recommended xx
Food and service second to none! Xmas turkey dinner was exemplary. Chefs own cranberry sauce was the best I've tasted and the whole meal itself was delightful. Thanks in no small part to Mo Ashton and the lady at the welcome area. First class experience and thoroughly worth the surprisingly reasonable price! Thank you so much!
We had a delightful stay at Hotel du Vin in Brighton. The staff were so friendly, the hotel is really nice, in a fabulous location just moments from the beach, and the food & drink on offer is excellent. The room was very comfortable and the only issue was that the shower door didn’t seal fully so there was a bit of a puddle on the floor after a shower. But everything else was great. Very nice breakfast too.
